Mechanism of autoantibody production in ITP.

ITPは血小板に対する自己抗体により血小板破壊が亢進し,血小板減少症をきたす自己免疫疾患である.最近の研究成果により,抗血小板自己抗体の産生には血小板膜糖蛋白を認識する自己反応性CD4+T細胞が中心的な役割を果たしていることが明らかにされた.また,血小板膜糖蛋白反応性CD4+T細胞の出現機構や活性化のメカニズムも明らかにされつつある.これらの成績に基づき,抗血小板抗体産生にかかわる免疫機構を人為的に制御することによるITPの新たな治療法の開発も試みられている.
