Divertor Power Supply System for J-TEXT

Journal of Fusion Energy, 2014
J-TEXT, formerly known as TEXT-U, has been under reconstruction since 2004. Recently the J-TEXT team is reconstructing the divertor system by developing a new divertor power supply system, which provides 400 V/25 kA bipolar dc output in 0.5 s. This power supply system features pulsed power applications on the 12-pulse power converter design.

Development of the pellet injection system on the J-TEXT tokamak

Plasma Science and Technology, 2022
Abstract Pellet injection is an attractive technology for core-fueling and magnetohydrodynamic study in magnetic-confinement fusion devices like tokamaks and stellarators. It can inject solid hydrogen/deuterium pellets into the plasma with deeper density deposition compared with other fueling methods, such as gas puffing.

Equilibrium Reconstruction and Its Integration in J-TEXT

Plasma Science and Technology, 2016
The equilibrium fitting code (EFIT) and its application in the J-TEXT tokamak are integrated by the Matlab language. The function of analysis and visualization to the results is added. In addition, the experiment data measured by soft X-ray (SXR) are used to calculate plasma equilibrium as a constraint condition.

Plasma equilibrium calculation in J-TEXT tokamak

Plasma Science and Technology, 2017
Plasma equilibrium has been calculated using an analytical method. The plasma profiles of the current density, safety factor, pressure and magnetic surface function are obtained. The analytical solution of the Grad–Shafranov (GS) equation is obtained by the variable separation method and compared with the computed results of the equilibrium fitting ...

Optimization of the HCN interferometer on J-TEXT tokamak

Journal of Instrumentation, 2015
Recently, the HCN interferometer on J-TEXT has been optimized in many aspects. Firstly, the output power of laser source is more stable after using a new designed movable mirror frame and upgrading the oil thermostatic system. Secondly, the electromagnetic interferences have been eliminated by designing a shielding system.
