Hypothyroidism as an Independent Predictor of 30‐day Readmission in Head and Neck Cancer Patients
This study used the Nationwide Readmissions Database from 2010 to 2017 to define the role of hypothyroidism and other factors for unplanned readmissions after surgery for head and neck cancer. Hypothyroidism was associated with an increased risk of readmission, especially related to wound problems.
