A Memristive Hyperchaotic Multiscroll Jerk System with Controllable Scroll Numbers

open access: yesInternational Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos, 2017
A memristor is the fourth circuit element, which has wide applications in chaos generation. In this paper, a four-dimensional hyperchaotic jerk system based on a memristor is proposed, where the scroll number of the memristive jerk system is controllable.

Equivalent synchronization patterns in chaotic jerk systems

open access: yesEurophysics Letters, 2022
AbstractJerk systems are some of the simplest dynamical systems that can exhibit chaotic dynamics. This paper investigates the synchronization of coupled jerk systems with coupling in single variables. We apply the well-known approach for synchronization analysis, the master stability function, which determines the stability of the synchronization ...

Some Jerk Systems with Hidden Chaotic Dynamics

International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos, 2023
Hidden chaotic attractors is a fascinating subject of study in the field of nonlinear dynamics. Jerk systems with a stable equilibrium may produce hidden chaotic attractors. This paper seeks to enhance our understanding of hidden chaotic dynamics in jerk systems of three variables [Formula: see text] with nonlinear terms from a predefined set ...

Analysis of Zero–Hopf Bifurcation in a Simple Jerk System

International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos, 2023
This work aims to study the zero–Hopf bifurcation of a jerk system with four real parameters. Some sufficient conditions of the emergence of periodic orbit and its stability at zero–Hopf equilibrium point are obtained by averaging theory.

Synchronization of chaotic jerk systems

International Journal of Modern Physics B, 2020
Chaotic jerk oscillators belong to the simplest chaotic systems. These systems try to model the behavior of dynamical systems efficiently. Jerk oscillators can be known as the most general systems in science, especially physics. It has been proved that every dynamical system expressed with an ordinary differential equation is able to describe as a ...

Nonlinear Behavior of a Novel Switching Jerk System

International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos, 2020
This paper proposes a novel chaotic jerk system, which is defined on four domains, separated by codimension-2 discontinuity surfaces. The dynamics of the proposed system are conveniently described and analyzed through a generalization of the Poincaré map which is constructed via an explicit solution of each subsystem.

Secure Chaotic Communication with Jerk Chaotic System Using Sliding Mode Control Method and Its Real Circuit Implementation

open access: yesIranian Journal of Science and Technology - Transactions of Electrical Engineering, 2019
Chaotic systems (CS) are chosen for secure communication owing to their interesting features. So, various CS and effective synchronization methods are introduced. Sprott's jerk chaotic system (SJCS) is one of the simplest CS.
