A physical interpretation of fractional-order-derivatives in a jerk system: Electronic approach

Communications in nonlinear science & numerical simulation, 2020
In this paper, a physical interpretation of the fractional-order-derivatives effects in a jerk system, based on Unstable Dissipative Systems (UDS), and a Saturated Non-Linear Function (SNLF), is presented.

Jerk and loss minimization in electric elevator systems

2014 International Conference on Circuits, Systems, Communication and Information Technology Applications (CSCITA), 2014
Elevator systems have become one of the main connected loads of the present era. This paper reports methods to make the elevator systems more comfortable and efficient. The comfort is assured by smoothening of the speed profile through predefined non-instantaneous jerk pattern.

Circuit realization of a fractional-order chaotic jerk system

2017 6th International Conference on Modern Circuits and Systems Technologies (MOCAST), 2017
In this paper, the analysis, design and circuit synthesis of a fractional-order form of a chaotic jerk system is presented. The proposed system is one of the simplest member of the jerk system's family, because it has the least number of terms, one of which is the unique nonlinear term of the system. For the first time, the hyperbolic sine term is used

A New Chaotic Jerk System with Double-Hump Nonlinearity

Journal of Circuits, Systems and Computers, 2020
In this paper, we report a new third-order chaotic jerk system with double-hump (bimodal) nonlinearity. The bimodal nonlinearity is of basic interest in biology, physics, etc. The proposed jerk system is able to exhibit chaotic response with proper choice of parameters.

Generalized projective synchronization of n-Scroll chaotic jerk system

2009 International Conference on Communications, Circuits and Systems, 2009
Multi-scroll chaotic system has found important applications as broadband signal generator and true pseudorandom number generator for communication engineering. In this paper, an active control method is proposed to projective-synchronize two n-scroll chaotic Jerk systems.

Minimum-jerk trajectory generation for master-slave robotic system

2012 4th IEEE RAS & EMBS International Conference on Biomedical Robotics and Biomechatronics (BioRob), 2012
This paper describes a trajectory generation method for a master-slave surgical robotic system. Because the data from the master system is intermittent due the limited master-slave communication rate, interpolation is required to achieve smooth motion of the slave robot. In particular, real-time interpolation is crucial for surgical systems.

Impulsive homoclinic chaos in Van der Pol Jerk system

Transactions of Tianjin University, 2010
A 3D continuous autonomous chaotic system is reported, which contains a cubic term and six system parameters. Basic dynamic properties of the new Van der Pol Jerk system are studied by means of theoretical analysis and numerical simulation. Based on the Silnikov theorem, the chaotic characterisitics of the dynamic system are discussed.
