Equivalent synchronization patterns in chaotic jerk systems

Europhysics Letters, 2022
AbstractJerk systems are some of the simplest dynamical systems that can exhibit chaotic dynamics. This paper investigates the synchronization of coupled jerk systems with coupling in single variables. We apply the well-known approach for synchronization analysis, the master stability function, which determines the stability of the synchronization ...

Initial-condition effects on ReLU-type hyper-jerk system and its application in image encryption

Physica Scripta, 2023
The memristive hyper-jerk system described in this study has a non-smooth Rectified Linear Unit (ReLU) memductance function. A non-smooth memductance function of this kind might cause the system to have three line equilibria within it, bring about the ...

Multiple system atrophy with macrosquare‐wave jerks

Movement Disorders, 2004
AbstractMacrosquare‐wave jerks consist of high‐amplitude saccadic intrusions occurring mainly during fixation that are observed in several disease entities, e.g., multiple sclerosis or parkinsonian syndromes, but very rarely in patients with multiple system atrophy.

Hidden and Self-Excited Collective Dynamics of a New Multistable Hyper-Jerk System with Unique Equilibrium

International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos in Applied Sciences and Engineering, 2022
Nonlinear dynamical systems with hidden attractors belong to a recent and hot area of research. Such systems can exist in different forms, such as without equilibrium or with a stable equilibrium point.

Nonlinear Behavior of a Novel Switching Jerk System

International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos, 2020
This paper proposes a novel chaotic jerk system, which is defined on four domains, separated by codimension-2 discontinuity surfaces. The dynamics of the proposed system are conveniently described and analyzed through a generalization of the Poincaré map which is constructed via an explicit solution of each subsystem.

Active Suspension Systems With Optimal Jerk Control

Volume 2: Automotive Systems, Bioengineering and Biomedical Technology, Fluids Engineering, Maintenance Engineering and Non-Destructive Evaluation, and Nanotechnology, 2006
An active suspension system should be designed/optimized in conjunction with the tradeoff between ride and handling. In recent years, jerk as a measure of ride quality is considered in performance index. In this paper, effects of jerk in active suspension system for a 1/4 car model is investigated.

Realization of Higher-Order Hyperchaotic Jerk System

2021
This research article suggests a novel method for realization of the higher-order chaotic jerk system. Proposed topology presents an idea for obtaining the nth-order chaotic system by using traditional cascading method. The generalized nth-order chaotic model is implemented with few passive components using integrator and summer amplifier with a sine ...

Complex dynamics in a novel jerk system with septic nonlinearity: analysis, control, and circuit realization

Physica Scripta, 2022
This work proposes a new chaotic jerk system with septic nonlinearity. The new system presents odd symmetry and undergoes typical behaviors including period doubling, merging crisis, spontaneous symmetry breaking, coexisting attractors and coexisting ...

Active control and electronic simulation of a novel fractional order chaotic jerk system

Communications in nonlinear science & numerical simulation
The chaotic jerk system represents a class of nonlinear systems with unique, varied, and interesting characteristics and behaviour. In this study, we proposed a modified fractional-order chaotic Jerk system by the introduction of two novel nonlinear terms
