RNA profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles (EVs) from blood samples of men undergoing prostate biopsy identifies transcripts associated with clinically significant prostate cancer. Integrative analysis with public tumor datasets links EV‐derived gene signatures to tumor stage and progression‐free survival, highlighting CASP3, XRCC2, and RIT1 ...

Results on the Joint Essential Maximal Numerical Ranges
In the present paper, we show the equivalent denitions of the joint essential maximal numerical range. In the current paper, we show that the properties of the classical numerical range such as compactness also hold for the joint essential maximal numerical range.

On the relation between the numerical range and the joint numerical range of matrix polynomials
Summary: It is shown that the numerical range, NR[\(P(\lambda)\)], of a matrix polynomial \(P(\lambda) = A_m \lambda^m + \dots + A_1 \lambda + A_0\) consists of the roots of all scalar polynomials whose coefficients correspond to the elements of the convex hull of the joint numerical range of the \((m+1)\)-tuple \((A_0,A_1,\dots,A_m)\).

Early‐life exposure to a high‐fat diet altered intact Achilles tendons in rat offspring, making them thinner, stiffer, and molecularly distinct even without injury. These findings suggest that developmental high‐fat diet exposure may impair tendon quality and increase susceptibility to mechanical overload or tendon injury later in life.

This systematic review synthesizes prognostic models for survival and recurrence in resected non‐small cell lung cancer. While many models demonstrate moderate to good discrimination, few are externally validated and reporting quality is variable, limiting clinical applicability and highlighting the need for robust, transparent model development ...

On joint essential maximal numerical ranges
Paper presented at the 4th Strathmore International Mathematics Conference (SIMC 2017), 19 - 23 June 2017, Strathmore University, Nairobi, Kenya. The study of numerical range of an operator has been an area of intense research. The motivation for the development arose from the classical theory of quadratic forms.

The McCance Brain Care Score and Mortality: Evidence From a Large‐Scale Population‐Based Cohort
ABSTRACT Objectives This study aimed to examine the relationship between the McCance Brain Care Score (BCS) and mortality in the general population. Methods We conducted a prospective, population‐based cohort study using data from the UK Biobank. Participants with complete data enabling calculation of BCS and full mortality information were included ...

Relative velocities of inertial particles in turbulent aerosols
We compute the joint distribution of relative velocities and separations of identical inertial particles suspended in randomly mixing and turbulent flows. Our results are obtained by matching asymptotic forms of the distribution.
