Monoallelic POLR3A Variants Cause Early‐Onset Peripheral Neuropathy
Objective Biallelic variants in genes encoding the RNA polymerase III complex (Pol III) cause a spectrum of neurological disorders primarily affecting the central nervous system. Monoallelic variants have been reported in the POLR3B subunit only, associated with neurodevelopmental disorder, epilepsy, and peripheral neuropathy.

Jordan Curves: Ramsey Approach and Topology
We develop a topological-combinatorial framework applying classical Ramsey theory to systems of arcs connecting points on Jordan curves and their higher-dimensional analogues.

The Complexity of Proving the Discrete Jordan Curve Theorem [PDF]
The Jordan curve theorem (JCT) states that a simple closed curve divides the plane into exactly two connected regions. We formalize and prove the theorem in the context of grid graphs, under different input settings, in theories of bounded arithmetic that correspond to small complexity classes. The theory V 0

Application of GIS-based SCS-CN method in West Bank catchments, Palestine
Among the most basic challenges of hydrology are the prediction and quantification of catchment surface runoff. The runoff curve number (CN) is a key factor in determining runoff in the SCS (Soil Conservation Service) based hydrologic modeling method ...

Vitamin D exhibits complex and cell‐specific biological effects in multiple tissues via activation of the ligand‐sensing transcription factor vitamin D receptor (VDR). The photo‐switchable vitamin D mimetic 10 transitions between VDR antagonist (E) and agonist (Z) activity upon illumination and offers unprecedented bidirectional optical control over ...

Cauchy projectors on non-smooth and non-rectifiable curves
Let f (t) be defined on a closed Jordan curve Γ that divides the complex plane on two domains D + , D − , ∞ ∈ D − . Assume that it is representable as a difference f (t) = F + (t) − F − (t), t ∈ Γ, where F ± (t) are limits of a holomorphic in C \ Γ ...

ABSTRACT Excessive water production in mature oil fields necessitates robust shut‐off treatments, yet conventional polymer gels often fail under high‐temperature and high‐salinity conditions. This study aims to enhance gel thermal stability and mechanical strength by incorporating selenium‐doped Ag/AgO–ZnO nanocomposites synthesized via a novel green ...

ABSTRACT Wellbore instability driven by the volumetric expansion of reactive shale formations remains a primary operational challenge in modern drilling engineering, causing severe mechanical failures and substantial economic deficits. The objective of this study is to formulate and evaluate a novel dual‐action chemical additive capable of ...
