Understanding jumping to conclusions in patients with persecutory delusions: working memory and intolerance of uncertainty [PDF]
Background. Persecutory delusions are a key psychotic experience. A reasoning style known as ‘jumping to conclusions’ (JTC) – limited information gathering before reaching certainty in decision making – has been identified as a contributory factor in the

Memristive Motion‐Streak Neuron for Spatiotemporal Multiple Object Detection
This work proposes motion‐streak neuron hardware using amorphous In–Ga–Zn–O optoelectronic memristors and dynamic memristors for spatiotemporal multiple‐object detection. The motion streak neuron array processes optical and electrical stimuli, allowing speed‐dependent filament relaxation to encode motion trajectories.

Two Point Boundary Value Problem with Jumping Nonlinearities [PDF]
We prove that a certain two point BVP with jumping nonlinearities has a solution. Our result generalizes that of [2]. We use variational methods which permit giving a minimax characterization of the solution.

Landesman-Lazer condition for nonlinear problems with jumping nonlinearities
The periodic boundary value problem \[ x''+m^ 2x+g(t,x)=e(t),x(0)- x(2\pi)=x'(0)-x'(2\pi)=0 \] has at least one solution provided \(m\geq 0\) is an integer, \(e\in L^ 1\), the function \(g=g(t,x)\) satisfies \(| g(t,x)| \leq p(t)+c| x|,\) g(t,x)\(\geq A(t)\) for almost all \(t\in [0,2\pi]\) and all \(x\geq R>0\), g(t,x)\(\leq a(t)\) for almost all \(t ...

Volatile Memristive Devices With Tunable Temporal Dynamics For Event‐Based Sensing
Tunable volatile memristive devices can serve various neural‐inspired tasks that require different time windows of information retention. The ionic‐based volatility of the presented Pt/a‐STO/TaOx/Ta device stack can be reproducibly and controllably tuned in multiple ways.

Reliable H∞ filtering for discrete time-delay systems with randomly occurred nonlinearities via delay-partitioning method [PDF]
The official published version can be found at the link below. In this paper, the reliable H∞ filtering problem is investigated for a class of uncertain discrete time-delay systems with randomly occurred nonlinearities (RONs) and sensor failures. RONs are

Elasticity‐Driven Periodic Polarization Patterns in a Chiral Ferroelectric Nematic Fluid
Chiral polar ferroelectric nematic fluids exhibit spontaneous formation of stripe, square, and hexagonal polarization textures under confinement. Controlled by thickness and anchoring, these patterns produce spatially modulated nonlinear optical responses.
