The TPR‐LYTACs nanomaterial offers a dual‐pathway strategy for precise gouty arthritis treatment by targeting and degrading the ROS‐producing enzyme NOX2 inside macrophages while its antioxidant core clears accumulated ROS outside. This “source inhibition and microenvironment scavenging” approach, guided by NIR‐II imaging, effectively controls local ...

Photoinhibition of cyanobacteria and its application in cultural heritage conservation [PDF]
Light has bilateral effects on phototrophic organisms. As cyanobacteria in Roman hypogea are long acclimatized to dim environment, moderate intensity of illumination can be used to alleviate biodeterioration problems on the stone substrata.

The strengthened EMSI in Pd/CoN‐Co4N induces electronic rearrangement, generating abundant Pd0 species in situ, modulating the Pd d‐band center to enhance O2 adsorption and MEK activation. Concurrently, it creates numerous Lewis acid sites that preferentially adsorb poisons and shield the active sites.
