Rift‐Related Sedimentary Basin and Deeper‐Seated Mafic Intrusions Modeled Beneath Thwaites Glacier, West Antarctica: Influence on Glacier Dynamics

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Solid Earth, Volume 130, Issue 10, October 2025.
Abstract Thwaites Glacier in West Antarctica has been identified as a route to destabilization of the whole West Antarctic Ice Sheet, potentially leading to several meters of sea‐level rise. However, future evolution of Thwaites Glacier remains uncertain due to a lack of detailed knowledge about its basal boundary that will affect how its retreat ...

Winners and losers under hydroxide‐based ocean alkalinity enhancement in a Tasmanian plankton community

open access: yesJournal of Phycology, Volume 61, Issue 4, Page 989-1006, August 2025.
Abstract Ocean alkalinity enhancement (OAE) is an emerging carbon dioxide CO2 removal approach for climate change mitigation and can be implemented with various alkaline materials that convert dissolved CO2 into (bi)carbonates, enabling additional atmospheric CO2 removal. A key knowledge gap is how alkaline materials affect marine life.

Friction in the field: Milpa, missionary, and scales of refusal in 1960s highland Guatemala

open access: yesAmerican Anthropologist, Volume 127, Issue 2, Page 266-277, June 2025.

Skin Pressing: An Easy and Reliable Method to Induce Acute Hair Greying in Mice and Useful for Studying Canities

open access: yesExperimental Dermatology, Volume 34, Issue 6, June 2025.
ABSTRACT Grey hair is a hallmark of aging, and its restoration is a major concern. Using aged mice for studying hair greying has disadvantages, such as individual variability and time requirements. In this study, we developed a simple method to induce acute and less variable hair greying in mice.

Brokerage in Markets: The Role of Ambiguity in Distributing Value

open access: yesDevelopment and Change, Volume 56, Issue 2, Page 254-277, March 2025.
