Exploring the k-distribution in fission
Abstract Statistical models of fission angular distributions predict that the spins of the fragments should vary with angle. This effect has been investigated in several 4 He-induced fission reactions using γ-ray multiplicity techniques. While M γ does vary with emission angle, the effect is smaller than expected.

Generalized Hypergeometric Factorial Moment Distribution of Order k
Here we introduce the generalized hypergeometric functional moment distribution of order k (GHFMD (k)) in the distribution of the random sum [Formula: see text] having Hira no's k-point distribution, where N, independent of X j's, has the generalized ...

K-distribution Clutter Simulation Methods Based on Improved ZMNL and SIRP
Zero Memory NonLinearity (ZMNL) and Spherically Invariant Random Process (SIRP) are two commonly used methods in K-distribution clutter simulations. An improved simulation method, which adds abranch of Gamma-distributed variable and extends the shape ...

Estimating the parameters of K-distribution using higher-order and fractional moments
We propose a method for estimating the parameters of the K- distribution on a manner which significantly reduces computational requirements when compared with existing approaches. additionaly, the method yields paramter estimates with lower variance when

(A) We start the k-shell decomposition with a network configuration where every node has at least degree k = 1. This set of nodes forms a 1-core. (B) Then, every node with k = 1 is iteratively removed to obtain the 2-core.
