Hyperon distribution and correlation in (K−,K+) reactions [PDF]

We analyze the hyperon momentum distribution and correlation in (K−, K) reactions on C and Be targets. Both of K and Λ momentum distributions are well reproduced with the the IntraNuclear Cascade model followed by the statistical evaporation of Λ from hyperon compound nuclei.
