Flavor constraints from pp → Vh and pp → WV at the LHC
We investigate the potential of associated Higgs pp → Vh and diboson production pp → WV channels at the LHC (with V = W, Z) to constrain flavor-physics operators.

Kaons at CERN: recent results and prospects
The NA48/2 and NA62 experiments at CERN study rare kaon decays using the decay in flight technique. In this paper two selected topics will be presented: new measurements performed by the two experiments of the K±→ π±γγ decay which represents a stringent ...

Bose-Einstein correlations of charged kaons in central Pb+Pb collisions at E_beam = 158 AGeV [PDF]
Bose-Einstein correlations of charged kaons were measured near mid-rapidity in central Pb+Pb collisions at 158 A GeV by the NA49 experiment at the CERN SPS. Source radii were extracted using the Yano-Koonin-Podgoretsky and Bertsch-Pratt parameterizations.

KAON Factory study : KAON international consultations
Foreign participation is essential for KAON to proceed. Of the 800 scientists expected to work at KAON, two thirds would come from abroad, and one-third would be from Canada. TRIUMF/KAON staff had estimated that foreign participation in components valued at S200M was a reasonable target.

Phase space density and chiral symmetry restoration in relativistic heavy ion collisions
The effect of altered hadron masses is studied for its effect with regard to final-state hadronic observables. It is shown that the final phase space densities of pions and kaons, which can be inferred experimentally, are sensitive to in-medium ...

We present an updated discussion of $K\ra \bar{l} l$ decays in a combined framework of chiral perturbation theory and Large--$N_c$ QCD, which assumes the dominance of a minimal narrow resonance structure in the invariant mass dependence of the $ \bar{l} l$ pair.

Kaon Tagging at 0° Scattering Angle for High-Resolution Decay-Pion Spectroscopy
At the Mainz Microtron hypernuclei can be studied by (e,e’K) reactions. By detecting the kaon which is emitted in forward direction, with the KAOS spectrometer placed at 0° scattering angle, reactions involving open strangeness production are tagged ...

Kaons: Review and Outlook [PDF]
This article presents a review of recent results and an outlook of kaon physics. After enjoying a renaissance, the discipline is now becoming and endangered species. Action will be needed to keep kaon physics at the heart of future FPCP meetings.Comment:
