Extracting Kinetic Freeze‐Out Properties in High‐Energy Collisions Using a Multisource Thermal Model

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, Volume 2024, Issue 1, 2024.
We study the transverse momentum (pT) spectra of neutral pions and identified charged hadrons produced in proton–proton (pp), deuteron–gold (d–Au), and gold–gold (Au–Au) collisions at the center of mass energy sNN=200 GeV. The study is made in the framework of a multisource thermal model used in the partonic level.

Flavor constraints from pp → Vh and pp → WV at the LHC

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We investigate the potential of associated Higgs pp → Vh and diboson production pp → WV channels at the LHC (with V = W, Z) to constrain flavor-physics operators.

Kaons at CERN: recent results and prospects

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2014
The NA48/2 and NA62 experiments at CERN study rare kaon decays using the decay in flight technique. In this paper two selected topics will be presented: new measurements performed by the two experiments of the K±→ π±γγ decay which represents a stringent ...

Precision tests of quantum mechanics and CPT $$ \mathcal{CPT} $$ symmetry with entangled neutral kaons at KLOE

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
The quantum interference between the decays of entangled neutral kaons is studied in the process ϕ → KSKL → π + π − π + π − , which exhibits the characteristic Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen correlations that prevent both kaons to decay into π + π − at the same

Kaon-nuclei interaction studies at low energies (the AMADEUS project)

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2012
The AMADEUS experiment aims to perform dedicated precision studies in the sector of low-energy kaon-nuclei interaction at the DAΦNE collider at LNF-INFN.

Kaons and antiproton-nucleus scattering [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
The elastic scattering of Kaons and antiprotons from several nuclei is studied in the framework of the generalized diffraction model due to Frahn and Venter. The systematics of reaction cross section and the standard nuclear radius, as given by the model,

Measurements of Branching Fractions of Tau Decays Involving Kaons [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
One-prong T decays into final states involving kaons have been studied with about 72.000 z0 ---+ T+T- events collected by the DELPHI detector during the years 1993, 1994 and 1995.

Kaon Tagging at 0° Scattering Angle for High-Resolution Decay-Pion Spectroscopy

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2014
At the Mainz Microtron hypernuclei can be studied by (e,e’K) reactions. By detecting the kaon which is emitted in forward direction, with the KAOS spectrometer placed at 0° scattering angle, reactions involving open strangeness production are tagged ...

CPT and Quantum Mechanics Tests with Kaons [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
In this review we first discuss the theoretical motivations for possible CPT violation and deviations from ordinary quantum-mechanical behavior of field-theoretic systems in the context of an extended class of quantum-gravity models. Then we proceed to a
