Search for dark photons in heavy‐ion collisions
Abstract The vector U‐bosons, or so‐called “dark photons,” are one of the possible candidates for the dark matter mediators. They are supposed to interact with the standard matter via a “vector portal” due to the U(1)−U(1)′$$ U(1)-U{(1)}^{\prime } $$ symmetry group mixing which might make them visible in particle and heavy‐ion experiments.

Theoretical and Experimental Challenges in the Measurement of Neutrino Mass
Neutrino masses are yet unknown. We discuss the present state of effective electron antineutrino mass from β decay experiments; effective Majorana neutrino mass from neutrinoless double‐beta decay experiments; neutrino mass squared differences from neutrino oscillation: solar, atmospheric, reactor, and accelerator‐based experiments; sum of neutrino ...

Abstract Measuring the variability of incoming neutrons locally would be usefull for the cosmic‐ray neutron sensing (CRNS) method. As the measurement of high energy neutrons is not so easy, alternative particles can be considered for such purpose. Among them, muons are particles created from the same cascade of primary cosmic‐ray fluxes that generate ...

Configurational entropy and shape complexity of strange vector kaons in AdS/QCD
The mass spectrum of strange vector kaons resonances is scrutinized, using AdS/QCD with a deformed dilaton that arises from the constituent quark masses.

Recent results on Kaon Physics at KLOE-2 [PDF]
KLOE-2 extends the physics program of the forerunner KLOE experiment, especially in the field of discrete symmetries tests with neutral kaons. KLOE and KLOE-2 have collected together the largest sample of electron-positron collisions at an energy equal ...

Extension of the axiomatic analyticity domain: Kaon-Kaon and Pion-Kaon scattering [PDF]
In this paper we collect some extended domains of validity of dispersion relations for the reactions K + K → K + K, K +\(\bar K\) → K +\(\bar K\), K +\(\bar K\) →\(\bar K\) + K, π + K → π + K, π + K → K + π, K +\(\bar K\) → π + π. The results are shown in Fig. 3, 4 and 8.

Impact of indirect CP violation on Br(K S → μ + μ − ) ℓ=0
The decay K S → (μ + μ − ) ℓ=0, with the final muon pair in an angular-momentum zero state, is a sensitive probe of short-distance physics. It has recently been shown how to extract this branching ratio from neutral kaon decay data. We point out that the
