Computation on Occurrence of the Karman Vortex Street Due to Cooling of Cylinder
1988An occurrence of the Karman vortex street due to cooling of a cylinder in an opposing flow is made clear computationally. Time-dependent Navier-Stokes and time-dependent energy equations are solved numerically. The numerical scheme presented here is based on a finite-difference approach of the Navier-Stokes and the energy equations.
