Icaritin Ameliorates Cisplatin‐Induced Mitochondrial Metabolic Dysfunction‐Associated Nephrotoxicity and Synergistically Potentiates Its Antitumor Efficacy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 7, 3 February 2026.
In this study, scRNA‐seq and chemoproteomics are integrated to characterize CDDP‐bound proteins at single‐cell resolution in tumor‐bearing mice. Additionally, the research demonstrates that ICA alleviates CDDP‐induced nephrotoxicity while enhancing its chemotherapeutic efficacy.

Electronic Patient File‐Embedded Model‐Informed Precision Dosing Compared with Physician Dosing of Tacrolimus in Kidney Transplantation

open access: yesClinical Pharmacology &Therapeutics, Volume 119, Issue 2, Page 381-392, February 2026.
Model‐informed precision dosing (MIPD) of tacrolimus in renal allograft recipients, evaluated in silico, demonstrated improved (time to and) probability of target concentration attainment and smaller deviations from target range. Using simulated tacrolimus concentration‐time profiles, a study of 200 patients was predicted to have sufficient power to ...

Plate Clearing and Body Mass Index: A Meta‐Analysis

open access: yesObesity Science &Practice, Volume 12, Issue 1, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Current food environments are characterized by larger food portions, which contribute to higher food consumption. Thus, habitually finishing meals by eating the entire portion (so‐called plate clearing or plate cleaning) may lead to weight gain.

Presence of kdr and s-kdr resistance in Musca domestica populations collected in Piacenza province (Northern Italy) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Pyrethroid insecticides combine a high efficacy against insects with a low toxicity towards warm-blooded vertebrates. For this reason they are largely used to control housefly infestations. The efficacy of these products is affected by insecticide resistance mechanisms. In particular, some mutations in the sodium channel coding sequence are responsible

Molecular alterations in high‐grade neuroendocrine tumors of the small intestine

open access: yesThe Journal of Pathology, Volume 268, Issue 2, Page 215-226, February 2026.
Abstract High‐grade neuroendocrine tumors of the small intestine are separated into two groups: well‐differentiated neuroendocrine tumors (NETs, high‐grade) and poorly differentiated neuroendocrine carcinomas (NECs). They represent very rare entities, with few molecular data available, and are very challenging to treat.

Deciphering the Transcriptomic Signatures of Aging Across Organs in Mice

open access: yesAging Cell, Volume 25, Issue 2, February 2026.
Comprehensive transcriptomic profiling of eight mouse organs across six ages reveals how aging reshapes biological processes. Trajectory and network analyses distinguish shared and organ‐specific signatures, charting the molecular landscape of systemic aging.
