Functionalized Reduced Graphene Oxide‐Based Nanocomposite Hydrogels for Enhanced Osteogenesis in Bone Tissue Engineering

Charge‐opposed reduced graphene oxide fillers are co‐integrated into biopolymeric nanocomposite scaffolds, synergistically enhance osteogenesis. Multiscale characterization reveals how surface chemistry and porosity dictate ectopic mineral architecture.

3D Bioprinting‐Assisted Engineering of Stem Cell‐Laden Hybrid Biopatches With Distinct Geometric Patterns Considering the Mechanical Characteristics of Regular and Irregular Connective Tissues

A hybrid biopatch platform integrating 3D printed polymeric patterns with stem cell‐laden collagen bioinks is developed to mimic the mechanical properties of connective tissues. By tailoring geometric architectures, the constructs replicate anisotropic or isotropic mechanics, enhancing tissue‐specific regeneration.

Convergence drawing is used to create flexible, microscale, multifunctional fiber‐based neural probes. Optimized materials selection enables individual devices to perform neural recording, electrical stimulation, optogenetics, fiber photometry, fluid delivery, and voltammetric neurotransmitter detection in rodents.

KETAMINE AND THE PREGNANT UTERUS [PDF]

Uterine pressure, and intensity and frequency of contractions have been measured in the pregnant uterus before and after the intravenous injection of ketamine HCl. The duration of pregnancy varied from 8 to 19 weeks. In every one of 12 patients, the uterine pressure was higher after ketamine HCl, indicating a more firm and contracted uterus.
