Provable security of internet protocols
Secure communications over the Internet are typically established by first running an authenticated key exchange protocol, which computes a secret key between two users, which is then utilised in an encryption protocol.

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Tight scaling of key rate for differential-phase-shift quantum key distribution
The performance of quantum key distribution protocols is evaluated based on the ease of implementation and key generation rate. Among major protocols, the differential-phase-shift (DPS) protocol has the advantage of simple implementation using a train of

Meta-standardisation of interoperability protocols [PDF]
Includes abstract.Includes bibliographical references. The current medley of interoperability protocols is potentially problematic. Each protocol is designed by a different group, each provides a single service, and has its own syntax and vocabulary ...

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

AN EFFICIENT DISTRIBUTED KEY GENERATION PROTOCOL FOR TRANSIENT CLOUDS [PDF]
Cloud computing presents a new approach to allow the development of dynamic, distributed and highly scalable software (e.g., networks, servers, storage, applications, and services) that can be rapidly supplied and allowed us with minimal management effort or service provider interaction.

Efficient path key establishment for wireless sensor networks
Key predistribution schemes have been proposed as means to overcome wireless sensor network constraints such as limited communication and processing power. Two sensor nodes can establish a secure link with some probability based on the information stored

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.
