Summary: Background: Although Ki-67 is a commonly used proliferation marker in breast cancer (BC), its prognostic value after neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) remains unclear.

bak deletion stimulates gastric epithelial proliferation and enhances Helicobacter felis-induced gastric atrophy and dysplasia in mice [PDF]
Helicobacter infection causes a chronic superficial gastritis that in some cases progresses via atrophic gastritis to adenocarcinoma. Proapoptotic bak has been shown to regulate radiation-induced apoptosis in the stomach and colon and also susceptibility

Expression of ki-67 and p53 in meningiomas
Meningiomas account for about 30% of all primary brain tumors. It is difficult to predict the behaviour of meningiomas, and identification of protein markers responsible for the regulation of cell proliferation can be very helpful. The aim of this study was to evaluate immunohistochemical expression of Ki-67 and p53 in 170 meningiomas.A total number of

Z‐Scheme Water Splitting Systems Based on Solid‐State Electron Conductors
This review examines the latest advances in Z‐scheme overall water splitting (OWS) systems for solar hydrogen production. These systems consist of suspended or immobilized hydrogen evolution photocatalysts (HEPs) and oxygen evolution photocatalysts (OEPs).

Risk Factors Associated with Discordant Ki-67 Levels between Preoperative Biopsy and Postoperative Surgical Specimens in Breast Cancers. [PDF]
The Ki-67 labelling index is significant for the management of breast cancer. However, the concordance of Ki-67 expression between preoperative biopsy and postoperative surgical specimens has not been well evaluated.

Triaging borderline/mild dyskaryotic Pap cytology with p16/Ki-67 dual-stained cytology testing: Cross-sectional and longitudinal outcome study [PDF]
Background: Women with borderline/mildly dyskaryotic (BMD) cytology smears are currently followed up with repeat testing at 6 and 18 months. The objective of this study is to analyse the cross-sectional and longitudinal performance of p16/Ki-67 dual ...

Understanding Decoherence of the Boron Vacancy Center in Hexagonal Boron Nitride
State‐of‐the‐art computations unravel the intricate decoherence dynamics of the boron vacancy center in hexagonal boron nitride across magnetic fields from 0 to 3 T. Five distinct regimes emerge, dominated by nuclear spin interactions, revealing optimal coherence times of 1–20 µs in the 180–350 mT range for isotopically pure samples.

Ki-67 marker useful for classification of malignant invasive ductal breast cancer
BACKGROUND Breast cancer is an important health problem in the world. Uncontrolled cell proliferation represents a malignant characteristic of neoplasia such as breast cancer, and can be examined immunohistochemically by measuring the Ki-67 ...

Factors correlating with lymph node metastases in patients with T1 ductal invasive breast cancer [PDF]
BACKGROUND: Identification of reliable predictors of axillary lymph node metastases (ALNM) may be useful in selecting appropriate management for patients with T1-size breast cancer.

Self‐Immolative Activatable Nanoassembly toward Immuno‐Photodynamic Therapy in TME
A quinone methide‐gated, self‐immolative, H2O2‐responsive nano‐photosensitizer (Pyz/PS) is developed for targeted immuno‐photodynamic therapy. Pyz/PS selectively activates within tumor microenvironments, restores photosensitizer activity, generates ROS, and depletes intracellular GSH, enhancing oxidative stress.
