Killing vector fields of horizontal Liouville type
On a slit tangent bundle endowed with a Riemannian metric of Sasaki–Finsler type, we introduce two vector fields of horizontal Liouville type and prove that these vector fields are Killing if and only if the base Finsler manifold is of positive constant curvature.

Celestial sector in CFT: Conformally soft symmetries
We show that time intervals of width $\Delta \tau$ in 3-dimensional conformal field theories (CFT$_3$) on the Lorentzian cylinder admit an infinite dimensional symmetry enhancement in the limit $\Delta \tau → 0$.

Hydrodynamic Killing vector fields on surfaces
Killing vector fields, which have their origins in Riemannian geometry, have recently garnered attention for their significance in understanding fluid flows on curved surfaces. Owing to the significance of behavior of fluid flows around the boundary and at infinity, in the context of fluid dynamics, Killing vector fields of interest should satisfy the ...

On the local extension of Killing vector-fields in Ricci flat manifolds
We revisit the problem of extension of Killing vector-fields in smooth Ricci flat manifolds, and its relevance to the black hole rigidity ...

Killing Vector Fields of Invariant Metrics
We study the existence of Killing vector fields for right-invariant metrics on low-dimensional Lie groups. Specifically, Lie groups of dimension two, three and four are considered. Before attempting to implement the differential conditions that comprise Killing’s equations, the metric is reduced as much as possible by using the automorphism group of ...

Gauging generalised symmetries in linear gravity
The theory of a free spin-2 field on Minkowski spacetime has 1-form and (d − 3)-form symmetries associated with conserved currents formed by contractions of the linearised Riemann tensor with conformal Killing-Yano 2-forms. We show that a subset of these

Rotating AdS3 × S3 and dyonic strings from 3-dimensions
We make a general Killing spinor analysis of a particular D = 3, N = 4 gauged supergravity that comes from a consistent S3 reduction of D = 6, N = (1, 0) supergravity coupled to a single chiral tensor multiplet.

Generalized Komar charges and Smarr formulas for black holes and boson stars
The standard Komar charge is a $(d-2)$-form that can be defined in spacetimes admitting a Killing vector and which is closed when the vacuum Einstein equations are satisfied.

Conformal motions of locally rotationally symmetric Bianchi type I space–times in f(Q) gravity
In this paper, first, we find locally rotationally symmetric (LRS) Bianchi type I solutions in symmetric teleparallel gravity, which is so-called f(Q) gravity, where f(Q) is the function of non-metricity scalar Q. To explore the solutions, we assume both
