RF-Kinect

Proceedings of the ACM on Interactive, Mobile, Wearable and Ubiquitous Technologies, 2018
The rising popularity of electronic devices with gesture recognition capabilities makes the gesture-based human-computer interaction more attractive. Along this direction, tracking the body movement in 3D space is desirable to further facilitate behavior recognition in various scenarios.

Kinected browser

Proceedings of the 2012 ACM international conference on Interactive tabletops and surfaces, 2012
Interest in and development of gesture interfaces has recently exploded, fueled in part by the release of Microsoft Corporation's Kinect, a low-cost, consumer-packaged depth camera with integrated skeleton tracking. Depth-camera-based gestures can facilitate interaction with the Web on keyboard-and-mouse-free and/or multi-user technologies, such as ...

IMU-Kinect

Adjunct Proceedings of the 2019 ACM International Joint Conference on Pervasive and Ubiquitous Computing and Proceedings of the 2019 ACM International Symposium on Wearable Computers, 2019
Gait rehabilitation is a common method of postoperative recovery after the user sustains an injury or disability. However, traditional gait rehabilitations are usually performed under the supervision of rehabilitation specialists, meaning the patients can not receive adequate care continuously.

Kinected conference

Proceedings of the ACM 2011 conference on Computer supported cooperative work, 2011
The proliferation of broadband and high-speed Internet access has, in general, democratized the ability to commonly engage in videoconference. However, current video systems do not meet their full potential, as they are restricted to a simple display of unintelligent 2D pixels.

Metrological comparison between Kinect I and Kinect II sensors

Measurement, 2015
Abstract This work shows a metrological comparison between Kinect I and Kinect II laser scanners. The comparison is made using a standard artefact based on 5 spheres and 7 cubes. Accuracy and precision tests are done for different ranges and changing the inclination angle between each sensor and the artefact.

Kinect-taped communication

Proceedings of the SIGCHI Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems, 2014
One key difference between face-to-face (F2F) communication and computer-mediated communication (CMC) is the availability of visual cues. It is often assumed that the reduction of visibility in audio and video conferencing may negatively impact the use of gesture to communicate, and thus negatively influence other outcomes.

Kinect Sports

ACM SIGGRAPH 2012 Computer Animation Festival, 2012
A CGi/live-action cinematic experience for games Kinect Sports: Season 2. We took the lead role in creating all pre-production and co-organising a green-screen shoot to film the actors in motion, all before creating an entire trailer out of CGI and the four actors.

3D with Kinect

2011 IEEE International Conference on Computer Vision Workshops (ICCV Workshops), 2011
We analyze Kinect as a 3D measuring device, experimentally investigate depth measurement resolution and error properties and make a quantitative comparison of Kinect accuracy with stereo reconstruction from SLR cameras and a 3D-TOF camera. We propose Kinect geometrical model and its calibration procedure providing an accurate calibration of Kinect 3D ...
