Robotic Control for Human–Robot Collaborative Assembly Based on Digital Human Model and Reinforcement Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This work presents a robotic control method for human–robot collaborative assembly based on a biomechanics‐constrained digital human model. Reinforcement learning is used to generate physiologically plausible human motion trajectories, which are integrated into a virtual environment for robot control learning.

DIFFERENCES IN THE REACTIVE FORCE OF ELITE AND SUB-ELITE SPRINTERS [PDF]

open access: yesSport Mont, 2012
The study aimed at establishing the differences between the kinematic and dynamic parameters of reactive force which is one of the most important biomotor ability of sprinters. Reactive force was assessed during a drop jump from 45 cm.

Multimodal Human–Robot Interaction Using Human Pose Estimation and Local Large Language Models

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
A multimodal human–robot interaction framework integrates human pose estimation (HPE) and a large language model (LLM) for gesture‐ and voice‐based robot control. Speech‐to‐text (STT) enables voice command interpretation, while a safety‐aware arbitration mechanism prioritizes gesture input for rapid intervention.

Reliability Analysis of Kinematic Accuracy of a Three Degree-of-Freedom Parallel Manipulator

open access: yes, 2010
The reliability of kinematic trajectory of manipulators describes the ability that manipulators keep kinematic accurate. It is an important parameter to evaluate the performance of manipulators. The kinematic accuracy of manipulators can be improved when

Efficient and Robust Standing Postures of Quadruped Robots

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
A calibrated static framework estimates load, optimizes torques, and adapts posture so quadruped robots stand efficiently and robustly under external payloads, achieving up to 50% lower torque demand. Inspired by the natural posture adjustments of animals under external loading, this article presents an optimization‐based framework for minimizing joint

Sensitivity analysis of kinematic approximations in dynamic medusan swimming models [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
Models of medusan swimming typically rely on kinematic approximations to observed animal morphology to make such investigations tractable. The effect of these simplifications on the accuracy of predicted dynamics has not been examined in detail.
