Molecular Gas Kinematics in Barred Spiral Galaxies [PDF]
To quantify the effect that bar driven mass inflow can have on the evolution of a galaxy requires an understanding of the dynamics of the inflowing gas.

Robot Kinematics: Forward and Inverse Kinematics [PDF]
Kinematics studies the motion of bodies without consideration of the forces or moments that cause the motion. Robot kinematics refers the analytical study of the motion of a robot manipulator. Formulating the suitable kinematics models for a robot mechanism is very crucial for analyzing the behaviour of industrial manipulators.

The Kinematics of Pulsars [PDF]
Pulsars have a galactic radial distribution similar to that of many galactic populations such as HII regions, massive stars and supernova remnants. However they are generally much further from the plane of the Galaxy than these objects. Proper motion measurements sho that this is because they are typically moving with high velocities.

Collision-free inverse kinematics of a 7 link cucumber picking robot [PDF]
The paper presents results of research on inverse kinematics algorithms to be used in a functional model of a cucumber harvesting robot consisting of a redundant manipulator with one prismatic and six rotational joints (P6R).

Kinematic Orbits and the Structure of the Internal Space for Systems of Five or More Bodies [PDF]
The internal space for a molecule, atom, or other n-body system can be conveniently parameterised by 3n-9 kinematic angles and three kinematic invariants. For a fixed set of kinematic invariants, the kinematic angles parameterise a subspace, called a kinematic orbit, of the n-body internal space.

Boundary Kinematic Space [PDF]
We extend kinematic space to a simple scenario where the state is not fixed by conformal invariance: the vacuum of a conformal field theory with a boundary (bCFT). We identify the kinematic space associated with the boundary operator product expansion (bOPE) as a subspace of the full kinematic space.

An Analytic Result for the Two-Loop Hexagon Wilson Loop in N = 4 SYM
In the planar N=4 supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory, the conformal symmetry constrains multi-loop n-edged Wilson loops to be basically given in terms of the one-loop n-edged Wilson loop, augmented, for n greater than 6, by a function of conformally ...

Lessons from dynamic cadaver and invasive bone pin studies: do we know how the foot really moves during gait? [PDF]
Background: This paper provides a summary of a Keynote lecture delivered at the 2009 Australasian Podiatry Conference. The aim of the paper is to review recent research that has adopted dynamic cadaver and invasive kinematics research approaches to ...

Kinematically Lopsided Spiral Galaxies [PDF]
Asymmetries in the distribution of light and neutral hydrogen are often observed in spiral galaxies. Here, attention is drawn to the presence of large-scale asymmetries in their kinematics. Two examples of kinematically lopsided galaxies are presented and discussed. The shape of the rotation curve --rising more steeply on one side of the galaxy than on

Baryon Magnetic Moments in Relativistic Quark Models
It is shown that the phenomenological description of the baryon magnetic moments in the quark model carries over to the Poincar\'e covariant extension of the model.
