Analytical Biochemistry, 1979Abstract A simple, highly sensitive method for assessment of the kinetics of reassociation of DNA has been developed. The method is based on the difference between the intensity of fluorescence of the ethidium bromide complex with single- and double-stranded DNA and requires no preliminary preparative separation of the molecules.
