Large‐Aperture Polarization‐Independent Broadband Achromatic All‐Dielectric Metalens for Terahertz Focusing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A large‐aperture, high focusing efficiency and polarization‐independent THz single‐layer achromatic metalens is reported via discrete multi‐wavelength achromatic design and global optimization algorithm. The fabricated metalens exhibits a largest diameter of 2.21 cm, excellent achromatic performance, extremely high average focusing efficiency (> 46 ...

All Organic Fully Integrated Neuromorphic Crossbar Array

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
In this work, the first fully integrated crossbar array of electrochemical random‐access memory (ECRAM) that is composed entirely of organic materials is represented. This array can perform inference and in situ parallel training and is capable of classifying linearly separable 2D and 3D classification tasks with high accuracy.

Assessing the role of spatial externalities in the survival of Italian innovative startups

open access: yesRegional Science Policy &Practice, EarlyView., 2023
Abstract The paper provides novel empirical evidence about the effects of spatial externalities on the survival of innovative startups in Italy. Using geocoded firm‐level data, we build micro‐geographic measures of specialization and diversity that are robust to the modifiable areal unit problem.

Upper bounds for the global cyclicity index

open access: yesOpen Mathematics
We find new upper bounds for the global cyclicity index, a variant of the Kirchhoff index, and discuss the wide family of graphs for which the bounds are attained.

The Resistance Distance and Kirchhoff Index on Quadrilateral Graph and Pentagonal Graph

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
The quadrilateral graph Q(G) is obtained from G by replacing each edge in G with two parallel paths of length 1 and 3, whereas the pentagonal graph W(G) is obtained from G by replacing each edge in G with two parallel paths of length 1 and 4.

RRAM Variability Harvesting for CIM‐Integrated TRNG

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates a compute‐in‐memory‐compatible true random number generator that harvests intrinsic cycle‐to‐cycle variability from a 1T1R RRAM array. Parallel entropy extraction enables high‐throughput bit generation without dedicated circuits. This approach achieves NIST‐compliant randomness and low per‐bit energy, offering a scalable hardware

Implications of Transient Negative Capacitance Effect in Ferroelectric Polarization Dynamics

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Transient voltage artifacts observed during ferroelectric switching are shown to originate from measurement circuitry rather than intrinsic negative capacitance. By correlating switching current, time scale, and series resistance, this work establishes practical design rules for reliable pulse‐switching experiments and circuit integration of ...
