Koagulan yang digunakan IPAM Ngagel II untuk mengolah air baku adalah aluminium sulfat. Penggunaan aluminium sulfat yang tidak sesuai dapat mempengaruhi pH air dan menyebabkan kerugian baik dalam sisi lingkungan maupun kesehatan konsumen.
