Diagrammes de phases des systemes binaires KNO3-CsNO3 et KNO3-NaNO3
Journal of Thermal Analysis, 1994(K−Na)NO3 and (K−Cs)NO3 phase diagrams were drawn using a simultaneous thermal analysis technique in the range 373 to 623 K. The first phase diagram shows a minimum freezing equimolar mixture at 494 K, a continuous solid solution in equilibrum with liquid phase and an eutectic mixture (88 molar % of KNO3) at 380 K.

The Thermophysical Properties of the NaNO3-KNO3, LiNO3-NaNO3, and LiNO3-KNO3 Systems
Volume 4: Energy Systems Analysis, Thermodynamics and Sustainability; Combustion Science and Engineering; Nanoengineering for Energy, Parts A and B, 2011The present work comprises of thermophysical properties of nitrate-based binary heat transfer fluids of various compositions. For various nitrate mixtures, specific heat, latent heat of fusion, and viscosity as a function of shear rate are reported at various temperatures.

The phase diagram of KNO3 to 40 kbars
Journal of Physics and Chemistry of Solids, 1965The phase diagram of KNO3 was determined by differential thermal analysis to 40 kbars and 600°C. Three new polymorphs, KNO3 V, VI, VII, were found. The melting curve passes through a broad maximum at 6.4 kbars, possibly through a second one at 11 kbars, and then rises steeply with increasing pressure.

The phase diagram of LiNO3–KNO3
Thermochimica Acta, 2002Abstract The binary phase diagram of LiNO 3 –KNO 3 are studied by means of differential scanning calorimeter (DSC). The convincing evidence for the identification of new phase has been presented. The phase diagram indicates an intermediate compound KLi(NO 3 ) 2 , which melts congruently at 428 K.

The phase diagram of KNO3–KClO3
Thermochimica Acta, 2004Abstract The binary phase diagram of KNO 3 –KClO 3 is studied by means of differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and high-temperature X-ray diffraction. The limited solid solutions, K(NO 3 ) 1− x (ClO 3 ) x (0 x 3 ) 1− x (ClO 3 ) x (0.90 x 3 -based solid solutions and KClO 3 -based solid solutions phase, respectively.

Ferroelectric ordering in KNO3
Solid State Communications, 1992Abstract The results of mid infrared absorption experiments on the phase transitions in KNO3 are described and compared with the behaviour of NaNO3. The first order phase II-Phase I transition is observed in KNO3 upon heating to 401 K through the appearance of an additional peak next to the ν2 peak.

The phase diagram of NaNO3—KNO3
Thermochimica Acta, 1980The binary phase diagram of NaNO3 and KNO3 was studied using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The data more precisely defined the solidus and liquidus of an earlier phase diagram for this system. This phase diagram was modelled using regular solution theory.
