Applying an Ethical Lens to the Treatment of People With Multiple Sclerosis
ABSTRACT The practice of neurology requires an understanding of clinical ethics for decision‐making. In multiple sclerosis (MS) care, there are a wide range of ethical considerations that may arise. These involve shared decision‐making around selection of a disease‐modifying therapy (DMT), risks and benefits of well‐studied medications in comparison to

Determination of the intrinsic velocity field in the M87 jet
A new method to estimate the Doppler beaming factor of relativistic large-scale jet regions is presented. It is based on multiwaveband fitting to radio-to-X-ray continua with synchrotron spectrum models.

LOFAR observations of 4C+19.44. On the discovery of low frequency spectral curvature in relativistic jet knots [PDF]
We present the first LOFAR observations of the radio jet in the quasar 4C+19.44 (a.k.a. PKS 1354+19) obtained with the long baselines. The achieved resolution is very well matched to that of archival Jansky Very Large Array (JVLA) observations at higher ...

Objective Recent inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) treatment guidelines have recommended against nonsteroidal anti‐inflammatory drug (NSAID) use despite prevalent musculoskeletal symptoms and opioid overuse in this population. Given the discordance between changing national guidelines and potential clinical utility, we sought to assess national temporal

The structure of molecular gas associated with NGC2264: wide-field 12CO and H2 imaging
We present wide-field, high-resolution imaging observations in 12CO 3-2 and H2 1-0 S(1) towards a ~1 square degree region of NGC2264. We identify 46 H2 emission objects, of which 35 are new discoveries.

Objective We aimed to test the efficacy of personalized treatment of older veterans with chronic low back pain (CLBP) delivered by Aging Back Clinics (ABCs) as compared with usual care (UC). Methods Two hundred ninety‐nine veterans aged 65 to 89 with CLBP from three Veterans Affairs (VA) medical centers underwent baseline testing, randomization to ABC ...

Associations of Sleep and Shift Work with Osteoarthritis Risk
Objective Daily rhythms may be critical for maintaining homeostasis of joint tissues. We aimed to investigate the relationships between circadian clock disruption, sleep, and osteoarthritis (OA) risk in humans. Methods In the UK Biobank, a prospective 500,000‐person cohort, we evaluated associations between sleep duration, sleeplessness/insomnia, and ...
