Anti‐Integrin αvβ6 Autoantibodies as Diagnostic and Monitoring Biomarkers for Pediatric‐Onset Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis

Levels of anti‐integrin αvβ6 antibodies were significantly higher in pediatric‐onset primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC) than in autoimmune hepatitis (AIH) and may reflect disease activity. These antibodies may serve as a novel biomarker for distinguishing PSC from AIH and for monitoring disease progression.

Kondo effect in systems of reduced dimensionality

We have studied the Kondo effect in systems of reduced dimensionality. We find that as any dimension of the system becomes comparable to a critical length, $\ell\sb{c}$, the magnitude of the Kondo contribution to the resistivity is suppressed.
