Cancer Science, EarlyView.Bile‐derived exosomal miR‐196a and miR‐196b are identified as novel biomarkers for biliary tract cancer. Serum miR‐196a levels are significantly elevated in advanced disease with metastasis, while both miRNAs contribute to tumor progression by promoting cancer cell proliferation and invasion.

Kondo Effect in a Many-Electron Quantum Ring
, 2004 The Kondo effect is investigated in a many-electron quantum ring as a function of the magnetic field. For fields applied perpendicular to the plane of the ring a modulation of the Kondo effect with the Aharonov-Bohm period is observed.
