Analisis Laba Kotor

open access: yes, 2021

Establishing Correlation between Cruise Ship Activities and Ambient PM Concentrations in the Kotor Bay Area Using a Low-Cost Sensor Network

open access: yesAtmosphere, 2022
The analysis of cruise ships is focusing on port areas where they may represent a significant source of anthropogenic emissions. In order to determine the correlation between cruise ship activities (hoteling and maneuvering) in ports with the ambient ...

Phenotypic correlates of genetic divergence suggest at least three species in the complex of Dianthus virgineus (Caryophyllaceae)

open access: yesTAXON, Volume 72, Issue 5, Page 1019-1033, October 2023., 2023
Abstract Dianthus virgineus encompasses a very complex taxonomic group (traditionally called D. sylvestris group) including an array of units of doubtful taxonomic rank and value. Recent work identified three genetic lineages within this complex that showed strong genetic isolation, and clear geographical boundaries (i.e., “Alpine”, “Balkan”, and ...

FRUITFLYRISKMANAGE: A Euphresco project for Ceratitis capitata Wiedemann (Diptera: Tephritidae) risk management applied in some European countries

open access: yesEPPO Bulletin, Volume 53, Issue 2, Page 354-371, August 2023., 2023
Abstract Ceratitis capitata (Wiedemann), the Mediterranean fruit fly or medfly, is one of the world's most serious threats to fresh fruits. It is highly polyphagous (recorded from over 300 hosts) and capable of adapting to a wide range of climates. This pest has spread to the EPPO region and is mainly present in the southern part, damaging Citrus and ...

β‐diversity reveals ecological connectivity patterns underlying marine community recovery: Implications for conservation

open access: yesEcological Applications, Volume 33, Issue 5, July 2023., 2023
Abstract As β‐diversity can be seen as a proxy of ecological connections among species assemblages, modeling the decay of similarity in species composition at increasing distance may help elucidate spatial patterns of connectivity and local‐ to large‐scale processes driving community assembly within a marine region.

Limited population genetic variation but pronounced seascape genetic structuring in populations of the Mediterranean mussel (Mytilus galloprovincialis) from the eastern Adriatic Sea

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 13, Issue 1, January 2023., 2023
We investigated the genetic variation of the economically and ecologically important species the Mediterranean mussel (Mytilus galloprovincialis) from 18 sites along the eastern Adriatic Sea, using six microsatellite loci. Population genetic analysis of variation at five neutral microsatellite loci revealed little or no spatial variation.

Mapping small‐scale fisheries through a coordinated participatory strategy

open access: yesFish and Fisheries, Volume 23, Issue 4, Page 773-785, July 2022., 2022
Abstract The knowledge of small‐scale fisheries (SSFs) is important to develop management policies and mitigate the competition for marine resources. However, spatially explicit information is often unavailable at the regional and subregional scale.

The Influence of Aquaculture and a Natural Environmental Gradient on Shell Landmark Variation of the Mediterranean Mussel (Mytilus galloprovincialis Lamarck, 1819) From the Eastern Adriatic Sea. [PDF]

open access: yesJ Morphol
We used geometric morphometry to identify shell landmark differentiation in the Mediterranean mussel Mytilus galloprovincialis across the eastern Adriatic Sea. The results revealed that an elongated shell shape was particularly characteristic of southern populations and those from environments with lower salinity concentrations.
