NTECARS: A Nonthermal Equilibrium CARS Spectra Fitting Code
We present NTECARS, an open‐source code written in Julia for the calculation and fitting of CARS spectra under nonequilibrium conditions. Rovibrational distributions can be flexibly modeled and fitted for different use cases. The code currently implements CO2$$ \mathrm{C}{\mathrm{O}}_2 $$ and N2$$ {\mathrm{N}}_2 $$ molecules and is validated under ...

Suppression of Oscillation and Ghosting in RF‐Spoiled Gradient‐Echo‐Based Dynamic Imaging
ABSTRACT Purpose This study aims to address the suppression of oscillation and ghosting appearing in RF‐spoiled gradient‐echo‐based dynamic imaging, which is caused by the pseudo‐steady state (PSS) of magnetization. Theory and Methods We extended the concept of the previous RF phase‐cycle‐adapted averaging method to RF‐spoiled gradient‐echo‐based cine (

Approximate Reachability for Feedback Linearizable Systems
The backwards reachable set for a dynamical system is the set of states for which there exists a constraint admissible trajectory that reaches a given terminal set. Conventional grid‐based approaches for computing these sets are intractable for many applications.

Abstract Tensor products or, more specifically, Kronecker products play a fundamental role in quantum computing and can also help with modeling certain combinatorial problems. In this chapter, we therefore discuss Kronecker products and their properties.

Approximation with Kronecker Products [PDF]
Let A be an m-by-n matrix with m=m1m2 and n=n1n2. We consider the problem of finding (mathematical formula omitted) so that (mathematical formula omitted) is minimized. This problem can be solved by computing the largest singular value and associated singular vectors of a permuted version of A. If A is symmetric, definite, non-negative, or banded, then

Computational governor is shown which simultaneously adjusts the reference and adjusts the constraints. ABSTRACT The paper considers a computational governor strategy to facilitate the implementation of Model Predictive Control (MPC) based on inexact optimization when the time available to compute the solution may be insufficient.

Facts about the Fourier-Stieltjes Transform of Vector Measures on Compact Groups
This paper gives an interpretation of the Fourier-Stieltjes transform of vector measures by means of the tensor product of Hilbert spaces. It also extends the Kronecker product to some operators arising from the Fourier-Stieltjes transformation and ...

KoPA: Automated Kronecker Product Approximation
We consider the problem of matrix approximation and denoising induced by the Kronecker product decomposition. Specifically, we propose to approximate a given matrix by the sum of a few Kronecker products of matrices, which we refer to as the Kronecker product approximation (KoPA).

Evaluating anisotropy‐based Monin–Obukhov similarity theory over canopies and complex terrain
This study shows that an anisotropy‐based generalization of Monin–Obukhov surface‐layer scaling (SC23) applies readily across a wide range of atmospheric conditions with variable terrain, canopies, and land‐cover complexity. This work focuses on the scaling of velocity variances for 7 years at the 47 sites in the National Ecological Observation Network
