AN OVERVIEW OF THE DIVERSITY OF THE GHANAIAN LANGUAGE AND CULTURE [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
There exist in Ghana about two hundred and fifty local dialects with the official language as English. The use of these languages is mostly dependent on the indigenous people, their place of birth and or abode, association and tribe.

Adsorption and Separation by Flexible MOFs

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Flexible metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) present significant potential for gas storage and separation due to their structural dynamic. This review explores the rationale behind the flexible MOFs' enhanced working capacity and separation factors. It also addresses key challenges, including phase transition kinetics, crystal robustness, cycling, shaping,

Measurements of the Secondary Electron Emission from Rare Gases at 4.2K

open access: yes, 2013
Dependence of the secondary electron yield (SEY) from the primary beam incident energy and the coverage has been measured for neon, argon, krypton and xenon condensed on a target at 4.2K.

MUTE‐Seq: An Ultrasensitive Method for Detecting Low‐Frequency Mutations in cfDNA With Engineered Advanced‐Fidelity FnCas9

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
An advanced‐fidelity CRISPR nuclease, FnCas9‐AF2, is rationally engineered to discriminate single‐base mismatches with unprecedented level precision. Integrated into the MUTE‐Seq workflow, FnCas9‐AF2 depletes wild‐type cell‐free DNA, thereby exposing rare tumor‐derived mutant DNA (a molecular “needle in a haystack”).

Investigation on Electron Energy Distribution in Multi- Component Plasma in Nuclear Fuel Rod Gap [PDF]

open access: yesمجله علوم و فنون هسته‌ای, 2014
The electron energy distribution function in fuel rod gap of Busheher’s VVER-1000 nuclear reactor was investigated using the Fokker-Planck equation. In this regard, the Fokker-Planck equation was solved by using the Runge-Kutta numerical method, and the ...

PERMASALAHAN PENGUCAPAN BUNYI VOKAL BAHASAINGGRIS [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
The English language learners might have problems in the pronunciation of English vowel sounds. It is assumed that the sound system of the mother tongue, in this case Javanese has, to some extent, affected the pronunciation of English sounds.

Inverted PAINT for Material‐Specific Super‐Resolution Fluorescence Imaging of Semiconductors

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents Inverted PAINT, a label‐free super‐resolution fluorescence imaging method optimized for thick and non‐transparent semiconductor materials. By employing electrostatic dye–surface interactions in an inverted geometry, the technique enables material‐specific, multicolor, and 3D nanoscale imaging, with applications in semiconductor ...

Spectrum of Ionised Krypton [PDF]

open access: yesNature, 1927
THE lines of the spectrum of krypton which appear under the influence of condensed discharge, were first carefully measured by Baly (Phil. Trans., vol. 202, p. 183; 1903). Messrs. L. and E. Bloch and Dejardin (Ann. dc Phys., vol. 2, 1924) have recently studied the spectra of krypton developed with electrodeless discharges, and re-arranged most of the ...

Pyridocarbene‐Based Tetradentate Pt(II) Complexes for Long Device Lifetime over 500 h in Blue Phosphorescent Organic Light–Emitting Diodes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Pt‐impy and Pt‐Me‐impy exhibit external quantum efficiencies of 24.5% and 27.4% at the 3 wt.% doping concentration, respectively. In particular, Pt‐impy and Pt‐Me‐impy doped blue PhOLEDs optimized for stability demonstrate a device lifetime of up to 95% of the initial luminance of 543 and 228 h at 1000 cd m−2, which has never been achieved in the blue ...
