O’Speak Version 1.0: A New Tool to Measure Segmental Pronunciation Features
The rapid enhancement of technology has made it possible to integrate technology and L2 pronunciation assessment. While the investigation of L2 pronunciation was considered vital in English Language Teaching, assessing pronunciation is granted the least ...

Lithium Intercalation in the Anisotropic Van Der Waals Semiconductor CrSBr
We report the lithium intercalation in the layered van der Waals crystal CrSBr, revealing strongly anisotropic ion‐migration dynamics. Optical and electrical characterization of exfoliated CrSBr shows lithium diffusion coefficients that differ by more than an order of magnitude along a‐ and b‐directions, consistent with molecular dynamics simulations ...

The Effect of Auditory Perceptual Training by Online Computer Software on English Pronunciation
Pronunciation is crucial to L2 learning. However, achieving speech proficiency is difficult. Class time constraints make demonstration–imitation pronunciation teaching methods less effective, even after repeated practice.

Functional Load and the Teaching-Learning Relationship in L2 Pronunciation
Though frequent recourse has been made to the functional load (or FL) principle in establishing priorities for L2 pronunciation teaching, it remains an under-theorized and relatively under-utilized concept.

A novel approach for the design of functional semiconductors is presented, which utilizes the excellent optoelectronic properties of layered hybrid perovskites and the possibility to introduce a molecular photoswitch as the organic spacer. This concept is successfully demonstrated on a coumarin‐based system with the possibility to change the bandgap ...

Dual‐Ligand Metal‐Organic Frameworks via In Situ Amidoxime Engineering for Selective Ion Separation
Inspired by microbial ion‐trapping mechanisms, a mild and universal strategy is developed to construct highly porous amidoxime‐functionalized MOFs. DFT calculations and molecular force measurements reveal that the dual‐ligand amidoxime configuration significantly strengthens Ga(III) affinity.
