The patterns of transcription and translation of the ribosomal protein L32 (Rpl32) mRNA differ greatly in adult testis and somatic tissues. Northern blots reveal that the levels of Rpl32 mRNA are four- to five-fold higher in prepubertal and adult testes, and purified pachytene spermatocytes and round spermatids than in a variety of nongrowing adult ...

GA‐binding protein is involved in altered expression of ribosomal protein L32 gene
Differentiation of BC3H1 myoblasts to myocytes is accompanied by a 67% drop in the rate of rpL32 gene transcription. Addition of high concentrations of serum to resting myocyte populations stimulates cell growth and subsequent dedifferentiation to proliferating myoblasts with a return to the normal rate of rpL32 gene transcription.

AbstractWe recently reported that deleting either of the two paralogous rpl32 genes resulted in non‐sexual flocculation in fission yeast. This study represents the first report that these non‐sexually flocculating fission yeast cells exhibit a thicker cell wall, an increased wall protein content with smeared glycosylated wall proteins, and increased ...

The structure of the RNA binding target for Saccharomyces cerevisiae ribosomal protein L32 was examined using chemical and enzymatic probes as well as thermodynamic methods. In vivo, the production of yeast RPL32 is regulated by a feedback mechanism whereby RPL32 binds to the 5' end of its transcript and inhibits splicing. The binding site of ribosomal

Introduction For many living with Huntington’s disease, care is provided by family members, primarily partners: a role revealed to adversely affect carers’ psychological well-being in other neurodegenerative conditions. The partner relationship has been argued as the most sensitive to this impact.

Dexamethasone stimulates ribosomal protein L32 gene transcription in rat myoblasts
Incubation of rat L6 myoblasts for 24 h with 10(-7) M dexamethasone, a glucocorticoid analogue, resulted in a 2.5-fold increase in the rate of ribosomal protein L32 (rpL32) gene transcription with a corresponding increase in the level of rpL32 mRNA. The increased rate of transcription was accompanied by a dramatic enhancement in binding of the delta ...

This project examines and analyzes the process parameter variance towards on-state drive current (ION) and leakage current (IOFF) towards the 16 nm double-gate FinFET (DG-FinFET) device by the implementation of 2k-factorial design, with comparisons made against an L25 Taguchi statistical method.
