New Physics in the Third Family and its Effect on Low Energy Data [PDF]
We investigate, in detail, a model in which the third family fermions are subjected to an SU(2) dynamics different from the first two families. Constrained by the precision Z-pole data, the heavy gauge boson mass is bounded from below to be about 1.7 TeV

ABSTRACT This study investigates the effect of adding l‐arginine (Arg) on the density and viscosity of aqueous solutions of methyldiethanolamine (MDEA). Densities and viscosities were measured at different MDEA (1, 2, and 3 M) and Arg concentrations (0, 0.01, 0.03, 0.05, 0.1, 0.15, 0.2 M) at a temperature range of 293.15–323.15 K.

The ability of collisionless shocks to efficiently accelerate nonthermal electrons via diffusive shock acceleration (DSA) is thought to require an injection mechanism capable of preaccelerating electrons to high enough energy where they can start ...

Promoting Fun or Competition? Testing Interventions on Ludic and Agonistic Work Design
ABSTRACT Research highlights the benefits of play‐at‐work, yet little is known about training employees to self‐initiate it. We tested two programs to train employees on designing work with elements of fun (ludic work design [LWD]) or competition (agonistic work design [AWD]).

Early‐onset Marfan syndrome (eoMFS) is a rare disorder with atrioventricular valve insufficiency being the most severe symptom. We propose to regard eoMFS as a spectrum, ranging from a severe disorder life‐threatening already before or immediately after birth, to a disorder with a better survival rate, creating a window for atrioventricular valve ...

Direct binding of yeast transcription factor (TFIID) to the ribosomal protein L32 (rpL32) TATA‐less promoter sequence [PDF]
The ribosomal protein L32 (rpL32) gene transcribed by RNA polymerase II lacks a canonical TATA element, that binds the transcription factor TFIID τ or TBP (TATA binding protein). Instead this promoter contains an element, termed γ, located at −30 relative to the transcription initiation site. We previously reported that, despite the lack of a canonical

ABSTRACT Background Mitochondria have been linked with inflammatory colorectal cancer (CRC) development; however, the association between mitochondria‐related genes (MRGs) and CRC remains unknown. Aims To explore the causal relationship between MRGs and CRC, screen prognostic genes, conduct drug prediction analyses, and investigate the correlations ...

This study presents reliability assessments and load flow computations for the electricity grid in Rwanda at the distribution level on Gatumba and Ntongwe feeders by integrating the PV system and BESS. The power characteristics were established by utilizing the PV*SOL simulation, and quasi‐dynamic and reliability simulations are conducted in DigSILENT ...
