Block DCT based Image Fusion Techniques
Block DCT based image fusion techniques have been developed and studied using image fusion quality evaluation metrics. Five image fusion architectures such as feature (FDCT), resizing DCT (RDCT), wavelet structure DCT (WSDCT), subband DCT (SDCT) and ...

DCT-Based Motion Estimation [PDF]
A new motion estimation approach, the DCT-Based Motion Estimation Scheme (DXT-ME) utilizing the sinusoidal orthogonal principles to estimate displacements of moving objects in the transform domain, based upon the concept of pseudo phases, is presented in

Icariin promoted the growth of Akk by enhancing the activity of N‐acetylgalactosaminidase (Amuc_0920), which enhanced mucin utilization and provided a favorable nutrient environment for bacterial growth. This icariin‐mediated enrichment of Akk further reshaped the tumor microenvironment and promoted CD8+ T cell infiltration, ultimately synergizing with

Redox‐Dependent Chaperoning of GBF1 Condensates Regulates Seed Germination in Arabidopsis
In dormant seeds (low ROS), GBF1 forms liquid condensates to repress the germination gene CathB3, and the chaperone GIP1 maintains condensate liquidity and repressive activity. Upon imbibition (high ROS), ROS oxidize GIP1 during germination, impairing its chaperone function.

HNRNPD promotes radioresistance in nasopharyngeal carcinoma by enhancing stress granule assembly and sequestering GRAMD4 mRNA. This suppresses GRAMD4 translation and inhibits mitochondrial apoptosis. Targeting the integrated stress response with ISRIB restores GRAMD4 expression and sensitizes tumors to radiotherapy, revealing a translational control ...

DCT sign-based robust image hashing
This paper proposes a robust image hashing technique based on the sign of coefficients in the Discrete Cosine Transforms (DCT) domain. The idea consists of exploiting the energy compaction property of the DCT and its ability to carry information of edges

UCHL3 Regulates Subgenomic Flaviviral RNA Condensates to Promote Virus Propagation
ABSTRACT Flavivirus subgenomic RNAs (sfRNAs) antagonise antiviral defences, yet how sfRNAs are organized and maintained in cells remains poorly understood. Here we identify ubiquitin C‐terminal hydrolase L3 (UCHL3) as a post‐translational regulator of flavivirus sfRNA stability and function.

DCT-Based Zero Replacement Reversible Image Watermarking Approach [PDF]
Reversible watermarking recovers an original image from a watermarked image by extracting the embedded watermarks. This work presents a reversible image watermarking approach that works on quantized DCT coefficients, implying that the original quantized ...

Under colitis, Gsdmd mediates the release of IL‐33 from the epithelium of pregnant mice. IL‐33 can cross the placenta and enhance the proliferative capacity of neural stem cells, ultimately resulting in behavioral deficits in the offspring. Excessive pyroptosis in the colonic epithelium also triggers the translocation of LPS, which in turn increases ...

We proposed a method based on the piezoelectric effect and fabricated an implant abutment on the basis of piezoelectric ceramic. Under physiological occlusal pressure, the oral motion‐powered smart dental implant abutments interacted with water and oxygen, promoting the formation of reactive oxygen species and achieving a synergistic and highly ...
