Electric Pulse Regulated MXene Based Nanozymes for Integrative Bioelectricity Immuno‐Cancer Therapy
MXenzyme‐mediated bioelectricity cancer therapy (MXenzyme‐BECT) enhances cancer cell death through irreversible depolarization, ion channel disruption, ROS generation, and immunogenic cell death. Computational simulations reveal the electrical mechanisms by which MXenzyme acts on single cells and support to predict treatment parameters. Next‐generation

The Lactate/Pyruvate Ratio of Metabolic Modulation Using Glucose Insulin Kalium and Lactate Solution and Their Effect on Functional Mechanical Recovery of the Isolated Perfused Heart [PDF]
Metabolic modulation with Glucose Insulin Kalium (GIK) solution has beenreally well known in their capacity to improve post ischemic heart function. In this regardGIK intervention on post operative Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) can improveheart ...

Exercise induces cerebral VEGF and angiogenesis via the lactate receptor HCAR1
Physical exercise can improve brain function and delay neurodegeneration; however, the initial signal from muscle to brain is unknown. Here we show that the lactate receptor (HCAR1) is highly enriched in pial fibroblast-like cells that line the vessels ...

Intraoral Drug Delivery: Bridging the Gap Between Academic Research and Industrial Innovations
Intraoral drug delivery offers a promising route for systemic and localized therapies, yet challenges such as enzymatic degradation, limited permeability, and microbial interactions hinder efficacy. This figure highlights innovative strategies—mucoadhesive materials, enzyme inhibitors, and permeation enhancers—to overcome these barriers.

Lactate and pyruvate promote oxidative stress resistance through hormetic ROS signaling
L-lactate was long considered a glycolytic by-product but is now being recognized as a signaling molecule involved in cell survival. In this manuscript, we report the role of L-lactate in stress resistance and cell survival mechanisms using neuroblastoma
