Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

The lactation curve of the guinea pig was investigated by two methods: daily hand milking with the aid of oxytocin and timed nursing done every other day.By the latter method, the lactation reached maximum on the 3rd to the 11th day and continued for 21 to 35 days.

Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Phenotypic and genomic modeling of lactation curves: A longitudinal perspective*
Lactation curves, which describe the production pattern of milk-related traits over time, provide insightful information about individual cow health, resilience, and milk production efficiency. Key functional traits can be derived through lactation curve

Acute caffeine treatment protects the developing retina from ischemia‐induced cell death
Caffeine reduces cell death in the developing retina under ischemia (OGD). This effect does not involve BDNF upregulation or antioxidant pathways (NRF2/VEGF). Neuroprotection occurs mainly through adenosine A2A receptor antagonism, decreasing glutamate release and excitotoxicity, highlighting caffeine's potential as an acute neuroprotective agent in ...

Organic dairy cows: milk yield and lactation characteristics in thirteen established herds and development of a herd simulation model for organic milk production [PDF]
As a consequence of organic standards and principles, organic dairy producers are frequently faced with a different set of management considerations than those found in conventional dairy systems.

L'Uso dell'analisi multicaratteriale nella stima dell'ereditabilità della curva di lattazione in bovine da latte [PDF]
The heritability estimation of the shape of the lactation curve is quite complex. However, it now seems to be resolvable thanks to a combination of two mathematical methods which up to now have been developed indipendently.

High-fructose corn-syrup-sweetened beverage intake increases 5-hour breast milk fructose concentrations in lactating women [PDF]
This study determined the effects of consuming a high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS)-sweetened beverage on breast milk fructose, glucose, and lactose concentrations in lactating women.

Early‐life exposure to a high‐fat diet altered intact Achilles tendons in rat offspring, making them thinner, stiffer, and molecularly distinct even without injury. These findings suggest that developmental high‐fat diet exposure may impair tendon quality and increase susceptibility to mechanical overload or tendon injury later in life.
