Stimuli‐Responsive Supramolecular Biomaterials for Cancer Theranostics
The ultimate goal of cancer theranostics is to get imaging agents and therapeutic cargo to tumor sites when and where they are required. “Smart” systems should be developed. This review discusses the characteristics of physiological stimuli, types and action modes of external stimuli, construction approaches and working principles, as well as ...

Colonic adaptation to daily lactose feeding in lactose maldigesters reduces lactose intolerance [PDF]
We conducted blinded, controlled crossover studies to determine the effect of daily lactose feeding on colonic adaptation and intolerance symptoms. The initial study with nine lactose maldigesters showed a threefold increase in fecal beta-galactosidase activity after 16 d of lactose feeding.

A fully edible soft electrode is engineered from Ca2⁺‐crosslinked alginate integrated with polydopamine, silver nanoparticles, and food‐grade glucose oxidase. The hybrid hydrogel combines ionic and electronic conduction, enabling efficient glucose‐to‐H2O2 conversion and catalytic reduction in simulated intestinal fluid.

Diagnosing Breastfeeding Difficulties: Where Do We Stand? [PDF]
ABSTRACT Despite lactation being a natural occurrence in mammals, many structural barriers and individual factors can impact the ability of a woman to breastfeed her newborn. At the individual level, evidence has widely documented several risk factors and societal barriers for impaired lactation, many of which have been steeply increasing in human ...

This study constructed the first D‐amino acid antimicrobial peptide dataset and developed an AI model for efficient screening of substitution sites, with 80% of candidate peptides showing enhanced activity. The lead peptide dR2‐1 demonstrated potent antimicrobial activity in vitro and in vivo, high stability, and low toxicity.
