Noncommutative Lagrange Mechanics [PDF]
It is proposed how to impose a general type of ''noncommutativity'' within classical mechanics from first principles. Formulation is performed in completely alternative way, i.e. without any resort to fuzzy and/or star product philosophy, which are extensively applied within noncommutative quantum theories.

Limit point buckling of a finite beam on a nonlinear foundation
In this paper, we consider an imperfect finite beam lying on a nonlinear foundation, whose dimensionless stiffness is reduced from 1 to k as the beam deflection increases.

Gravitational Waves from the Cosmological Quark-Hadron Phase Transition Revisited
The recent claim by the NANOGrav collaboration of a possible detection of an isotropic gravitational wave background stimulated a series of investigations searching for the origin of such a signal.

Takotsubo cardiomyopathy in the setting of severe hyponatremia and beer potomania: A case report
Takotsubo cardiomyopathy (TC), an acute cardiac event is often associated with acute emotional stress, usually in the setting of cardiovascular risk factors. This case report attempts to review one of the triggers of TC beer potomania‐induce hyponatremia

The Euler-Lagrange expression and degenerate lagrange densities [PDF]
It is well known that many of the field equations from theoretical physics (e.g. Einstein field equations, Maxwell's equations, Klein-Gordon equation) can be obtained from a variational principle with a suitably chosen Lagrange density. In the case of the Einstein equations the corresponding Lagrangian is degenerate (i.e., the associated Euler-Lagrange

Planet formation simulations consistently predict compact systems of numerous small planets in chains of mean motion resonances formed by planet-disk interaction, but transiting planet surveys have found most systems to be non-resonant and somewhat ...

The Darcy-Forchheimer law for modelling fluid flow in biological tissues [PDF]
The motion of the interstitial uid of a biological tissue is studied by employing the Darcy-Forchheimer law, a correction to standard Darcy's law. The tissue is modelled as a saturated biphasic medium comprising the fluid and a deformable matrix.
