FORCED CONVECTIVE EVERSION: THE LAMINAR REGIME
Numerical Heat Transfer, Part A: Applications, 1991The paper is a numerical exploration of the effect of convective eversion (turning the flow inside out) inside a tube with a wall temperature different from that of the fluid entering it. Three models of eversion are suggested to cover the likely behavior of practical devices under laminar conditions.

Gas/liquid dispersions with a SMX static mixer in the laminar regime
Chemical Engineering Science, 2006A Sulzer SMX mixer was used to disperse gas into viscous, Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids. The investigation covered the effect of the dispersed phase volume fraction, the viscosity of the continuous phase, the mixer length and the power draw. The flow regime was kept laminar in all the experiments.

Partial Journal Bearing Performance in the Laminar Regime
Journal of Lubrication Technology, 1975In this approximate analysis of laminar journal bearing operations both the momentum and the energy equations are two dimensional, the shaft operates at a constant temperature and the bearing conducts heat in the radial direction only. Via the last of these assumptions, the equation of heat conduction is eliminated from consideration.

Journal of Mechanical Engineering Science, 1967An equation in lubricant pressure is derived, based on Prandtl's mixing-length theory, under general loading conditions. This non-homogeneous partial differential equation is amenable to reduction by separation of variables. One of the resulting ordinary equations is integrated directly, while the other is solved by a direct method.
