Iridescence in land snails

The Festivus, 2022
For the first time, 14 genera of land snails that contain individuals who display iridescence on either the animal and/or shell are identified. This phenomenon has not been previously reported in the malacological literature. The biological significance of iridescence among these snails is currently unknown.
