Meniscus Pixel Printing for Contact‐Lens Vision Sensing and Robotic Control
A visual‐sensing contact lens is enabled by meniscus pixel printing (MPP), which rapidly patterns a 200 µm perovskite photodetector pixel in 1 s without masks, vacuum processing, or bulky equipment. A deep‐learning‐based super‐resolution reconstructs sparse on‐lens signals into 80 × 80 high‐resolution visual information, while AI‐driven eye‐tracking ...

Synthesis of the landing obligation measures and discard rates
Article 15 of the reformed European Union (EU) Common Fisheries Policy (CFP) came into force on 1 January 2015. It introduced a phased implementation of a discard ban: a prohibition on discarding catch, generally described as the Landing Obligation (LO). The introduction of the LO was essentially a change from a 'landing' to a 'catch quota' system.

An Aloe‐pinspired droplet electricity generator (A‐DEG) overcomes the limited energy collection zone of conventional DEGs by guiding impact droplets through a channeling midrib and artificial cuticle. The channeling midrib induces uni‐directional droplet spreading, while the artificial cuticle on the midrib further reinforces this behavior through its ...

The Fix Was In: Mitre's "Independent" Review of Free File [PDF]
In this Special Report, Ventry analyzes Mitre Corp.’s review of the IRS Free File program. He argues that Mitre’s lack of professional distance from the IRS prevented it from delivering an independent report.
