Moral Obligation and Natural Capital Commons on Private Land
This Article makes a simple and hopefully straightforward attempt to demonstrate how Gerhart’s property theory fills the gaps in privatized commons resource theory. Part II describes in more detail privatized commons resource theory, while Part III discusses Gerhart’s theory both generally and more specifically in the context of natural resources ...

Surface Plasmon Enhanced Photoluminescence of Carbon Dots Formed In Situ on Silver Gratings
Carbon emitters formed in situ on a silver grating via plasmonic catalysis yield enhanced spontaneous emission by preferential radiative decay into surface plasmons. Enhancement manifests as emission exhibiting characteristics of coherence (polarization, directionality), and accelerated lifetimes of ∼30 ps, yielding Purcell factors of ∼70.

A green, thermoreversible self‐assembly strategy yields a multifunctional and recyclable supramolecular nanofibrous membrane. Graphene oxide (GO) nanosheet acts as a heterogeneous nucleation‐templating agent, simultaneously modulating the supramolecular crystal packing while tailoring the nanofibrous architecture for elite performance.

Appropriate butylene oxide (BO) functionalization of amines (polyethyleneimine (PEI1200 and PEI300) and tris(2‐aminoethyl)amine (TREN)) enables excellent cyclic working capacities (WCcyclic) at low desorption temperatures (40−70°C). Notably, 0.30BO‐PEI300‐SY and 0.54BO‐TREN‐SY show the highest WCcyclic at 45 and 40°C, respectively.

Monitoring the Implementation of the Landing Obligation: The Last Haul Programme [PDF]
The collection of catch composition data during inspections at sea by EU Member States occurs under the framework of joint deployment plans (JDP). It is known as “the last haul” (LH) programme and has been a fundamental tool in allowing the estimation of discards and the derivation of indicators of compliance with the landing obligation (LO).

Microbial Odorant Detection Guides Drosophila Parasitoids Seeking Hosts in Fermenting Fruits
Yeast microbes in fermenting fruits attract both host flies and their parasitoid wasps. Female Leptopilina boulardi detect yeast‐emitted ethyl esters via two olfactory receptors, LbouOR167 and LbouOR136. A conserved residue, Leu159, is critical for binding these compounds, enabling female wasps to locate host‐rich habitats.
