Resonance‐induced restoration of rock permeability degraded by heavy components of crude oil
Resonance‐induced changes occur in filtration properties of sedimentary rocks in crude paraffin oil flow under acoustic vibrations. Experimental data on (a) pressure drop; (b) permeability; (c) pressure at the rock inlet; and (d) pressure at the rock outlet are presented.

Unification of the complex Langevin method and the Lefschetzthimble method
Recently there has been remarkable progress in solving the sign problem, which occurs in investigating statistical systems with a complex weight. The two promising methods, the complex Langevin method and the Lefschetz thimble method, share the idea of ...

Information-Geometric Markov Chain Monte Carlo Methods Using Diffusions
Recent work incorporating geometric ideas in Markov chain Monte Carlo is reviewed in order to highlight these advances and their possible application in a range of domains beyond statistics. A full exposition of Markov chains and their use in Monte Carlo

Critically-Damped Third-Order Langevin Dynamics
While systems analysis has been studied for decades in the context of control theory, it has only been recently used to improve the convergence of Denoising Diffusion Probabilistic Models. This work describes a novel improvement to Third- Order Langevin Dynamics (TOLD), a recent diffusion method that performs better than its predecessors.

Optically confined gold nanorods exhibit cooperative light‐driven dynamics, forming mobile end‐to‐end dimers with orientation‐dependent propulsion. Using structured laser traps and an opto‐thermo‐hydrodynamic model, we uncover how optical binding, polarization‐induced torque, and near‐surface hydrodynamics govern their motion.

Overdamped langevin dynamics simulations of grain boundary motion
Macroscopic properties of structural materials are strongly dependent on their microstructure. However, the modeling of their evolution is a complex task because of the mechanisms involved such as plasticity, recrystallization, and phase transformations,

Out of time ordered effective dynamics of a quartic oscillator
We study the dynamics of a quantum Brownian particle weakly coupled to a thermal bath. Working in the Schwinger-Keldysh formalism, we develop an effective action of the particle up to quartic terms. We demonstrate that this quartic effective theory is

AlphaFold2‐Guided Cyclic Peptide Stabilizer Design to Target Protein–Protein Interactions
ABSTRACT The control and modulation of protein–protein interactions (PPIs) is of central importance for the majority of biological processes and most biomedical applications. Stabilization of PPIs, besides inhibition, is of growing pharmaceutical interest.
