Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Towards a Formal Composition Language

open access: yes, 1997
When do we call a software development environment a composition environment? A composition environment must be built of three parts: i) a reusable component library, ii) a component framework determining the software architecture, and iii) an open and ...

Document Flow Model: A Formal Notation for Modelling Asynchronous Web Services Composition

open access: yes, 2005
This paper presents a formal notation for modelling asynchronous web services composition, using context and coordination mechanisms. Our notation specifies the messages that can be handled by different web services, and describes a system of inter ...

Stimulator of interferon genes agonist augmented antitumor immunity of osimertinib in Egfr‐mutated lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

The development of language abilities in elementary school children

open access: yes, 1964
The previous four reports [Reports 7, 10, 14, 17] were, so to speak, interim reports issued during our survey of the development of language ability. This book is a collection of the above data, rearranged in order to see the development afresh and as a ...

Situation aspect as a universal aspect : implications for artificial languages [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
Aspect, as one of the elements of verb mechanics, has been overlooked by many language designers. This paper argues that an artificial language, designed as a universal language for international communication, should incorporate the "universal ...

Tumor B‐cell infiltration in platinum‐treated advanced muscle‐invasive urothelial carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Bladder tumors with higher pretreatment memory B‐cell infiltration were linked to longer survival after cisplatin chemotherapy, but not carboplatin. These tumors also showed more organized immune structures (tertiary lymphoid structures) and a shared pro‐inflammatory B‐cell‐rich community, suggesting that memory B cells may help identify patients most ...

Lookback supports semi-parallel, just-in-time processing in second language written composition.

open access: yesPLoS ONE
PurposeCompetent written production results from semi-parallel processes that flow from content determination to finger movement. Information from upstream processes that is not used immediately is easily lost.

A Formal Language for Composition

open access: yes, 2000
A composition language based on a formal semantic foundation will facilitate precise specification of glue abstractions and compositions, and will support reasoning about their behaviour.
