A note on Berezin-Toeplitz quantization of the Laplace operator
Given a Hodge manifold, it is introduced a self-adjoint operator on the space of endomorphisms of the global holomorphic sections of the polarization line bundle.

Eigenfunctions of the Laplace-Beltrami operator on hyperboloids
Eigenfunctions of the Laplace-Beltrami operator on a hyperboloid are studied in the spirit of the treatment of the spherical harmonics by Stein and Weiss. As a special case, a simple self-contained proof of Laplace’s integral for a Legendre function is obtained.

Abstract This study presents a non‐iterative tuning technique for a linear fractional‐order (FO) controller, based on the integral of the time‐weighted absolute error (ITAE) criterion. Minimizing the ITAE is a traditional approach for tuning FO controllers. This technique reduces the over/undershoot and suppresses the steady‐state error. In contrast to

A cellular automaton model is introduced for simulating electrolyte wetting in porous battery composites. The model offers high flexibility, near real‐time runtimes, and strong agreement with experimental data. Validated on individual and multilayer configurations, the model enables fast, accurate wetting prediction for pouch, and cylindrical cell ...

On the projections of Laplacians under Riemannian submersions
We give a condition on Riemannian submersions from a Riemannian manifold M to a Riemannian manifold N which will ensure that it induces a differential operator on N from the Laplace-Beltrami operator on M.

Natural wax supported by microporous biochar to create a stable phase change material
Beeswax and hardwood charcoal are combined to form a stable and biodegradable composite phase change material. Abstract Energy storage, exploiting the latent heat of phase change materials, offers an efficient method to store and release heat. Initial developments of phase change materials and their containment targeted performance over environmental ...
